The petitioner has filed this Criminal Original Petition to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.216 of 2012 on the file of the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would state that the matter has become infructuous and therefore, seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition.
