Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records of the impugned auction notification issued by the 3rd respondent temple under the title 11th Call Public Auction/Opening of Contract, dated
09.09.2024, and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to conduct auction afresh in accordance with the provisions of Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act,1998 (Act 43 of 1998). For Petitioner :

ORDER
The instant Writ Petition has been filed, challenging the auction notice issued by the third respondent temple for auctioning of agricultural lands for a period of five years.
2. On instructions, learned counsel appearing for the third respondent submits that the auction, that was proposed to be conducted today, has been dropped and any further auction would be conducted only after issuing a fresh notice.
3. The above said statement is recorded and the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected W.M.P.(MD) Nos.19456 and 19457 of 2024 are closed.
