ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to transfer the tax receipt in the name of the petitioner and to accept the tax for the houses situated in Door Nos.8/148, 8/149, 8/150, 8/151 and 1/56 at Arasanoor Village, Thirumanjolai Post, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.08.2023.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has given a representation on 23.08.2023 for transferring the tax receipt in his name and to accept tax for the houses situated in Door Nos. 8/148, 8/149, 8/150, 8/151 and 1/56 at Arasanoor Village, Thirumanjolai Post, Sivagangai Taluk, Sivagangai. However, the same is yet to be considered. Hence, the Writ Petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered within the time stipulated by this Court. 2/4

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.08.2023 and dispose of the same, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
