The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to accord necessary approval for issuing No Objection Certificate along with the release of Joint RPGF (Vikash cash certificate) bearing No.696095 in Account No.63604050023646/1, dated 28.05.2009 with Syndicate Bank, Trichy of Rs.28,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty Eight Lakhs only).

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in the Writ Petition has become infructuous and nothing survives for adjudication in this matter.
