O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] The Writ Petition is filed in the year 2018 seeking direction to construct a permanent Law College building and provide basic infrastructure for Law College students in Ramanathapuram District.

2. We have heard Mr.R.Alagumani, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.N.Satheesh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 3, 5 and 6 and Mr.V.Meenkshi Sundaram. learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now the construction of the building is completed, however, the same is not functioning.

4. It is submitted by the learned Additional Government Pleader and the learned counsel for the University that the building is completed in all respects, even furniture is installed in the building and the same would be inaugurated and may be operational and

functional from the start of the academic year 2024-2025. The said statement is recorded and accepted.

5. In view of the said statement, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
