ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking direction to the second respondent to earmark the property comprised in S.No.158/1 situated at Thiruvenkadam Kalani, Sholavandhan, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2025.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Arokia Selva Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader, for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner claims rights over the subject property under a settlement deed executed by his father on 18.04.2012. The patta for the subject property stands in the name of the petitioner under Patta No.684. He submitted an application on 30.07.2025 in Application No. 2025/0123/24/018450, seeking survey of the subject property, but the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for respondents, would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 30.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
