This Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide necessary police protection to the petitioner and her family members.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State would submit that the petitioner has give a compliant before the second respondent and taking note of the amount involved, they have referred the matter to the DCB and the same is pending before the District Crime Branch, Ramnad.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Inspectof of Police, District Crime Branch, Ramnad, is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondents and conduct enquiry and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
