PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to give proper police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 09.10.2018 as per rule 21(2) (i), (ii), (iii) of Tamilnadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009.

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to give proper police protection to the petitioner's life and limb on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 09.10.2018 as per rule 21(2) (i), (ii), (iii) of Tamilnadu Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Rules, 2009.

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.21115 of 2018 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, dated 09.10.2018, the second respondent has conducted enquiry and the same was closed.

3. At this juncture, police protection cannot be granted. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh petition, on fresh cause of action, if so advised.
