ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.10.2015 and grant patta for his house property in Survey No.279/1A in Thottiam Village, Thottiam Taluk, Musiri, Trichy District. As per the representation of the petitioner, his father Raju Pillai had purchased the property in the year 1945 and he had passed away in the year 1957, leaving behind his mother Anandhavalli, his brother Velusamy and the petitioner herein. According to the petitioner, his mother had also passed away in the year 1976. As of now, his brother Velusamy and the petitioner alone are the legal heirs of the deceased Raju Pillai. According to the learned Counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner had also passed away.

2. Considering the above said facts, the following order is passed:

"The petitioner's legal heirs may file a fresh application for joint patta along with Velusamy, enclosing a 2/4

copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the said application on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of application from the legal heirs of the petitioner".

3. With the above said observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
