Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner joined the respondent Corporation in the year 1981 as Junior Assistant. He retired from service as Assistant Manager on 31.05.2017. The petitioner claims that the retirement benefits payable to him were not computed by taking into account the 7th Pay Commission Revised Wages. This assertion made by the writ petitioner is not controverted by the respondent corporation.

3. I therefore direct the respondents to disburse the differential arrears by computing the petitioner's last drawn wages in terms of the 7th Pay Commission Revised Wages within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents are also directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum.

4. The Writ Petition is allowed on these terms. No costs.
