PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.40 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/ sole accused herein, who was arrested on 05.03.2023 for the alleged offence under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Crime No.40 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police, seek bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 04/03/2023 at 03.30 pm, based on the secret information, the respondent police went to the spot and conducted vehicle check up. At that time, in a two wheeler bearing registration No.TN-45-BW-3353, the petitioner along with A1 have travelled. They were intercepted by the police team. 1/3

On enquiry, it revealed that they were in possession of 22 kgs of Ganja. Hence, the case.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that Final Report has been filed before the Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai, on 12.07.2023.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be direction to the Special Court for EC and NDPS Act Cases, Pudukkottai, to complete the above said trial within five months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
