[Order of the Court was made by C.V.KARTHIKEYAN, J.] This petition has been filed by an aged lady about 65 years complaining that her granddaughter, who is a minor and aged 16 year and studying in twelfth standard had been missing on and from 15.08.2025. 2.The petitioner had also impleaded the third and fourth respondents and stated in the affidavit that she suspects that her granddaughter had been taken away by the third respondent. In this connection, she had also lodged a complaint which had been registered as FIR No.383 of 2025 on 16.08.2025 as girl missing by the second respondent.
3.Today, the child had been produced before us. She had expressed her willingness to go along with the petitioner/her grandmother. She also expressed her wish that she would continue her studies.
4.The further investigation in FIR in Crime No.383 of 2025 may proceed in accordance with law and appropriate provisions may be included as the offences committed.
5.We are informed that the FIR in Crime No.383 of 2025 had now been transferred for further investigation to All Women Police Station at Sanarpatti, Natham, Dindigul District.
6.Since the detenu had been secured, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
