Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent. 2.This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.4 of 2020 registered on the file of the first respondent for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 427 and 506(i) of IPC.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners reiterated all the contentions set out in the memorandum of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.20800 of 2021 grounds. Though they are quite persuasive, they can be considered only after the final report is filed. This criminal original petition has been filed at a premature stage. Therefore, leaving open the petitioners' contentions, this criminal original petition is dismissed. The petitioners are specifically given liberty to question the final report, if it is adverse to them. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
