2 W.P.(MD)NO.24450 OF 2022 Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to withdraw a sum of Rs.6,00,000/- of the Provident Fund accumulation of his own PF contribution available to the credit of first respondent for the marriage expenses of his daughter R.Mathumitha within the time stipulated as fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner is employed in the respondent Corporation. In connection with his daughter's marriage, the petitioner wants to withdraw his PF contribution. The petitioner seeks permission to withdraw a sum of Rs.6,00,000/-.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing counsel submitted that eligible amount can be withdrawn by the petitioner.

4. In the light of the submission made by the learned Standing counsel, I direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to withdraw a sum of Rs.4,88,000/- (Rupees Four Lakhs and Eighty Eight Thousand only) from the petition mentioned PF account forthwith and without any delay.

5. This writ petition stands allowed accordingly. No costs.
