ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 2.Dr.Alagumani, learned counsel seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. Further he would seek liberty to file appropriate petition against her grievance. 3.The prayer in the writ petition was challenging the order of transfer of the petitioner's husband from Palayamkottai Prison to Trichy Prison and consequently, seeking for a direction.
4.During the course of argument, this Court wanted to know about the various measures initiated by the Prison Department and the training given to the prisoner in various jail. A report was filed before this Court, which was taken on file. Whileso since the submission was made by Dr.Alagumani, learned counsel that he was ready to furnish the details with regard to various courses conducted by the Prison Department in the nearby States and he is ready to collect the particulars and hand it over to the prison authorities of Tamil Nadu. Post the matter on 26.08.2025.
5.Today when the mater is came up for hearing, Dr.Alagumani, learned counsel is not ready with the particulars.
6.We do not incline to keep this petition pending and widen the scope of the writ petition and thereby no further orders needs to be passed. W.P.Crl(MD)No.569 of 2025 stands closed.
