Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to transfer the petitioner's son by name Suresh @ Deepan Suresh, son of Nagaraj, aged about 22 years, from Trichy Central Prison to the Madurai Central Prison, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2016. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to transfer the petitioner's son, by name Suresh @ Deepan Suresh, son of Nagaraj, aged about 22 years, from Trichy Central Prison to the Madurai Central Prison, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. According to the petitioner, his son has been detained under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and was confined at Trichy Central Prison. The petitioner made a representation on 09.12.2016 to the respondents seeking to transfer his son from Trichy Central Prison to Madurai Central Prison. But, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Considering the fact that the petitioner's son has been detained under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and now, the detention period itself is over, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
