: Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to direct the second respondent not to insist me to executing cancellation deed of the settlement deed executed in my favour dated 12.11.2009 vide Document No.6940/2009 at Sub Registry, Radhapuram, there by interfering in civil matter.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the first respondent to direct the second respondent not to insist the petitioner to executing cancellation deed of the settlement deed executed in my favour dated 12.11.2009 vide Document No.6940/2009 at Sub Registry, Radhapuram, there by interfering in civil matter.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submitted that on the complaint lodged by one V.Selvakumar S/O.Vettumperumal Nadar as against the petitioner, the case has been registered in Crime No.7 of 2017 and after completion of investigation, the same was closed as "Mistake of fact". Therefore, no complaint is pending against the petitioner.

3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is closed. However, the second respondent has no role to play in the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the counter party. As such, the second respondent is directed not to interfere with the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the counter party except any crime committed by the petitioner and the counter party. No costs. Consequently, the connected writ miscellaneous petition is closed.
