Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; the learned Special Government Pleader for the first respondent; and the learned Government Advocate for the second respondent.

In this Writ Petition, the petitioner has prayed for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue building plan approval for the petitioner's land in Survey No.371/12B1A, measuring 12-3/8 cents, situated at Keelmidalam, Palappallam Town Panchayath, Kanyakumari District, based on the Memorandum in Na.Ka.No. 424/2024/Pa3 dated 31.01.2024, passed by the first respondent.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner filed an online application for building plan approval on 15.12.2023 before the second respondent. However, by order dated 22.12.2023, the said application was rejected. Under these circumstances, the petitioner sent a representation to the first respondent on 08.01.2024. Page No. 2 of 5
4. It is further submitted that, by communication dated 31.01.2024, the first respondent directed the second respondent to re-examine the matter.
5. The learned Government Advocate for the second respondent submits that the petitioner's request dated 08.01.2024 shall be considered and disposed of by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. Recording the aforementioned submission made by the learned Government Advocate for the second respondent, this Writ Petition stands disposed of, by directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
