Heard Mr.G.Karthick, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that except the petitioners 2 and 4, the other petitioners have given a letter to withdraw this writ petition. To that effect, a copy of the letter has been filed by the petitioners by way of filing miscellaneous petition.

3.At this juncture, the learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that though the present writ petition is challenging the notification and subsequently, examination was conducted on 4th October 2019 and the provisional list of the selected candidates was published on 30.10.2019 and all the selected candidates have already joined in their respective posts. 4.In view of the subsequent development, this Court is of the firm view that nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed as against the petitioners 1, 3, 5, 6 and 7 and the writ petition stands closed as against the petitioners 2 and 4. However, the petitioners 2 and 4 viz.,Mr.M.Kannan and K.Paraasivan, are at liberty to challenge the selection order, if so advised. 5.With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 31.10.2025 Index : Yes/No Ns 3/4
