Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the third respondent to grant advance increment for acquiring the higher qualification of Ph.D on 03.12.2010 to the petitioner with effect from 04.12.2010 in light of the proceedings of the fourth respondent in Letter No.398/M/2025 dated 1/5

ORDER
The instant writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to grant advance increment for acquiring the higher qualification of Ph.D on 03.12.2010 to the petitioner with effect from 04.12.2010.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the representation filed by the petitioner seeking increment for acquiring higher qualification of Ph.D., dated 11.08.2025, is still pending without any consideration and the same shall be directed to be disposed. 3.Considering the limited scope of the relief sought for by the petitioner, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2025 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording an 2/5
opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is also made clear that this Court has not expressed any of its views with regard to the merits of the matter and that it is open to the respondents to consider the same on its own merits.
4.It is brought to the notice of this Court that the first respondent is not a necessary party to this writ petition. Accordingly, the first respondent is deleted from array of parties.
5.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
