This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to grant 6 days emergency leave without police escort to the petitioner's son-in-law namely, Balraj, S/o.Karuppaiya, convict prisoner, PID No.300732 confined at Central Prison, Trichy, for attending to and take care of his wife during delivery on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2025.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstance of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition and without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to sympathetically

consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 21.08.2025 strictly in accordance with law and take a decision as expeditiously as possible. 4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
