PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd, 3rd and 4th respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2022 for grant of license/permission, consent and No Objection Certificate respectively for his M/s.Akash Saw Mill and Timbers situated at Kurunthancode and consequently direct them to grant the petitioner with License/Permission, Consent and No Objection Certificate respectively within a period as stipulated by this Court.

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd, 3rd and 4th respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2022, for grant of license/permission, consent and no objection certificate respectively for M/s.Akash Saw Mill and Timbers situated at Kurunthancode and 2/6

consequently direct them to grant license/permission, consent and no objection certificate respectively to the petitioner.

2. By consent of both parties, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he has given a representation dated 28.06.2022, to the respondents 2, 3 and 4, seeking license, consent and NOC respectively to run M/s.Akash Saw Mill constructed in his land comprised in Re-Survey Nos.106/11, 106/9 and 106/8A situated at Kununthancode -A Village. But so far the respondents 2, 3 and 4 have not considered the same. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Advocates appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the third respondent. 3/6

5. Considering the above facts, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 2, 3 and 4 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2022 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
