Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned Standing Counsel for the fifth respondent.

2.The present writ petition has been filed despite the order of this Court, dated 11.07.2025 in W.P.(MD) No.31101 of 2023, wherein, this Court had passed the following order:- "8.Considering the fact that the Government has already acted upon the impugned communication, dated 15.12.2023 in Na.Ka.No. 351/2021/c.,.(C)m2 and also considering the fact that the Government has also issued the afore said Government Order in murhiz (2g) vz;.16 dated 01.03.2024, contents of which have been extracted above, it has to be held that this Writ Petition has become infructuous. However, it is open to the newly elected body to challenge the aforesaid Government Order as and when it is constituted." 3.

Though the case was heard at length, at this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners would like to withdraw this Writ Petition with liberty to institute a fresh proceeding before the Division Bench. 4.Recording the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with such liberty. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. Index : Yes / No 25.08.
