The writ petition is filed seeking police protection for measuring the land in Survey Nos.187/1, 129 and 200 of Bodi West Hills Village, Bodi Taluk, Theni District.

The counsels for the respondents submitted that since the order of learned Single Judge directing the authorities to grant patta is now been challenged in W.A(MD)No.747 of 2014 and stay granted, question of measuring the land will not arise. Page No.2 of 4

This Court taking note of the fact that the right of the petitioner to seek police protection for measuring the land will get crystalised only on disposal of W.A(MD)No.747 of 2014, grants liberty to the petitioner to seek relief after the outcome of W.A(MD)No.747 of 2014 which is pending before this Court if there is any necessity. 4.
