O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking for a direction to expedite the committal proceedings in P.R.C.No.27 of 2023, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur. 2.It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner / de-facto complainant that though charge sheet has been filed and taken on file as P.R.C.No.27 of 2023, the committal proceedings are still pending and therefore, sought for expeditious disposal.

3.Learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] for the respondent on the other hand submits that Non-Bailable Warrants are pending against Accused No.1 and 10 and the learned Magistrate has already cancelled the bail granted in favour of them and steps are being taken to arrest Accused No.1 and 10 and produce them before the Court.

4.The reason for not committing the P.R.C. is the absence of Accused Nos.1 & 10, against whom warrants are pending. Since steps are being initiated 2/5

by the Court to see that Accused Nos.1 & 10 are produced, specific directions to dispose of the committal proceedings in a particular time frame cannot be issued. 5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, directing the learned Magistrate Court to expedite the steps to secure Accused Nos.1 & 10 and on such presence, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Melur is directed to issue the committal proceedings without any delay.
