Prayer in W.P.(MD).No.24392/2016: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to appoint the petitioner in the post of Reserve Driver pursuant to his proceedings Ref:Admn:P1:3040-1 dated 16.05.2015 by issuing appointment order and ensure seniority w.e.f. 16.05.2015 and provide all attendant and other benefits to the petitioner on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 29.11.2016. Prayer in W.P.(MD).No.24393/2016: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to appoint the petitioner in the post of Reserve Driver pursuant to his proceedings Ref:Admn:P1:3040-1 dated 16.05.2015 by issuing appointment order and ensure seniority w.e.f. 16.05.2015 and provide all attendant and other benefits to the petitioner.

W.P.(MD)Nos.24392 and 24393 of 2016 C O M M O N O R D E R Since the issue involved in these writ petitions is one and the same, they have been taken up together and disposed of by this common order.

2. These writ petitions have been filed for a direction to the first respondent to appoint the petitioners in the post of Reserve Driver, pursuant to the proceedings in Ref:Admn:P1:3040-1, dated 16.05.2015.

3. This Court, by order dated 11.03.2021, directed the first respondent to provide employment to the petitioners, as per the appointment orders, dated 01.01.2015 and report before this Court on 18.03.2021.

4. When the matters are taken up for hearing today under the caption for reporting compliance, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondents would submit that the order of this Court, dated 01.01.2015, has been complied with.

5. In view of the above, these Writ Petitions are closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
