PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorari to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order in No.4712/C1/2022, dated 15.05.2023 passed by the first respondent and quash the same. O R D E R

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The order impugned in this writ petition is an order passed by the Inspector General of Registration under Section 77A of the Registration Act on the direction of this Court in W.P(MD)No.22001 of 2021, dated 14.12.2021.

3. This Court in that writ petition has passed the following order:- "...The first respondent is under an obligation to examine the entire issues and pass necessary order either to the advantage of the writ petitioner or to the adverse interest of the writ petitioner, but at any rate, an order should be passed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."

4. Since the enquiry itself has been conducted only based on the directions of this Court, this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ 2/4

petition as the petitioner is having an appeal remedy before the Government under Section 77B(2) of the Registration Act.

5. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal within 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
