Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass appropriate order to remove the High Tension Electric Tower Line in S.No.119/3, to an extent of 4 Acre 68 cents situated at Nedungur Village, Pugalur Taluk, Karur District drawn by the respondents 5 and 6 for not getting sanction from the first respondent and direct the respondents 5 and 6 not to drawn High Tension Tower Line in the property of the petitioner and consequently, direct the respondents 5 and 6 to pay adequate compensation sum of Rs.50,00,000/- for drawing illegal high tension tower line in the property of the petitioner. O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 4, Ms.M.Rajeswari, learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3. The contesting respondent is the sixth respondent.

2.The petitioner's grievance is that high tension electric tower lines had been laid across the petitioner's property even without getting his consent. Therefore, he has filed the writ petition seeking removal of the high tension electric tower lines. 3.When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the counsel on either side reported an amicable resolution of the issue. They have also filed a joint compromise memo. The same shall form part of the record. The joint compromise memo envisages measuring the petitioner's property, over which, the towers have been erected and the lines have been drawn. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the sixth respondent states that the measurement exercise would be carried out within two weeks and immediately, thereafter, the amount will be paid as agreed.
