PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the entire records connected with the detention order of the second respondent in P.D.No.140/2022 dated 02.10.2022 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name, Keerthi, S/o.Gunasekar, aged about 26 years, now detained as 'Drug Offender' at Trichy Central Prison, before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents has submitted that the detention order, which is impugned herein, has already been revoked by the competent authority. Therefore, the prayer sought for in the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous. 2/5

2. The said position is not controverted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, recording the said statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
