police officer and file the final report by including all the accused persons and section of law within the time limit as fixed by this Court. Side] O R D E R This petition is filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.141 of 2023, pending on the file of the first respondent police to some other police officer.

2.It is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner / defacto complainant that even though the first respondent police have registered a case in Crime No.141 of 2023, for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 323 IPC, the investigation is not being done properly. It is further submitted that the accused in this case have been threatening the petitioner and on account of fear, the petitioner has left the village and is now residing at Karaikudi.

3.Learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] submits that the petitioner has sustained some simple injuries as per the medical report and the investigation is proceeded in the lines it is required to be and as of now five witnesses have been examined.

4.Considering the submissions made by both sides, this Court is of the opinion that the petitioner has not made out any grievance which requires this Court to consider the request of transfer from one police station to another. However, considering the fact that there is a threat and the petitioner is stated to be residing in some other place, the petitioner is at liberty to file an application and on filing of such application, the respondent police are directed to take appropriate action on the said application.

5.With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
