ORDER

The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey the petitioner's property situated in Block No.1, Old Survey No.12/5, New Survey No.222/4, with an extent of 1.64.0 Ares, in Ward No.23, Kokkulappi Village, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's online application dated 22.07.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.P.Pratheesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, he acquired the subject property under a sale deed dated 04.12.1998 and the Town Survey Land Register for the subject property stands in his name. He submitted an online application on 22.07.2025, in Application No.2025/0178/24/000409, seeking survey of the subject property and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the online application of the petitioner dated 22.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interested parties. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
