O R D E R

This petition has been filed to set aside the order that has been passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi, in Crl.MP(MD)No.4142 of 2017, dated 06.07.2017 and consequently, direct the first respondent to register the complaint.

2. It is seen that Crl.MP(MD)No.4142 of 2017 was filed by this petitioner under Section 156 (3) Cr.P.C and that was forwarded to the Station House officer, South Police Station, Thoothukudi, for further action. Challenging the above said order, this petition has been filed by the petitioner.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in pursuance of the order that has been passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thoothukudi, a case in Crime No.146 of 2022 has been registered, against the private respondents namely, 2 to 4 on 15.02.2022 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 427, 506

(2) and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. Now, the investigation process is pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.OP(MD).No.21290 of 2018 4.In view of the above said development, nothing survives for further consideration or direction in this petition and the matter has become infructuous.

5.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
