ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to survey the property of the petitioner situated in Survey Nos.125/2B, 128/13A situated in Thanakankulam Village, Madurai South Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's on-line application, dated 03.07.2025.
2. Heard the arguments of Mr.B.Anandan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Mr.D.S.Neduchezian, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.M.Vaikkam Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), who takes notice for the fourth respondent.
3. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
4.According to the petitioner, the subject property was purchased by her and her husband Subramanian under registered sale deed, dated 10.12.2010. Now the petitioner's husband is no more. Hence, the patta for the subject property stands in the name of the petitioner and her children in Patta No.24862. The petitioner submitted an on-line application in application No.2025/0123/24/017325, on 03.07.2025 seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.
5.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the petitioner's on-line application will be considered within time stipulated by this Court.
6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's on-line application, dated 03.07.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, co-pattadhars and other interested parties.
7.With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
