ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 1/4

528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in the case in Crime No.10 of 2024 dated 24.02.2024 on the file of the respondent police and to file a final report within stipulated period.

2. It is seen from the records that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.10 of 2024 on 24.02.2024 for the alleged offences under Sections 406, 420 and 506(1) IPC.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that 9 witnesses have been examined and investigation is pending and seeks six months time to file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.10 of 2024 and file a final report before the 2/4

jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
