PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to survey and demarcate the four boundaries of the petitioner's land in Patta No.2047 for S. No.388/8A to an extent of 0.11 cents in Madurai South, Ayan Pappakudi Village, Madurai District by considering her representation dated 08.03.2023 after giving notice to nearby land owners within a period stipulated by this Court.

The petitioner with a grievance that his application dated 08.03.2023 for survey of her land has not been considered by the respondents has approached this Court for a Mandamus, to issue directions to the respondent to survey her land. 2.Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents submits that there is some objection from the adjacent land owner and he is also claiming right over the property.

3.Considering the submissions made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Survey Officer to conduct an enquiry under Section 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 after 2/4

issuing notice to the adjacent land owners including and on completion of an enquiry, the Survey officer shall proceed with the survey accordingly. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
