ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed to quash the order dated 16.11.2016 with a consequential direction to reinstate the petitioner in service with all attendant and service benefits.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner died.
3. It is seen from the records that a criminal case is filed against the petitioner in Crime No.21 of 2013 and the case is still pending. The petitioner was dismissed from service for the alleged offence of misappropriation. 2/4
4. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed as abated. However, the legal heirs of the petitioner are at liberty to challenge the dismissal order after the disposal of the criminal proceedings. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
