ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct survey and fix the boundary stones of the petitioner's land in Survey No.166/9 and Survey No.168/10B situated at Nanjikottai Village, Thanjavur Taluk and District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 19.06.2025, within a stipulated time to be fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties

3. According to the petitioner, he has made a formal representation to the respondents 1 and 2 requesting survey and demarcation of the land, but no action has been taken so far. The petitioner, therefore, prays that this Court to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to conduct survey and fix the boundary stones of the petitioner's land in Survey Nos.166/9 and 168/10B and complete the process within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submits that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.

Recording the aforesaid submission, this Court directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.06.2025 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after consideration of the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
