Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 2 and 3 to mutate the revenue records in respect of the properties in Survey No.131/5 to the extent of 79 cents, Survey No.131/6C to the extent of 27 cents, Survey No. 131/6B to the extent of 24 cents, Survey No. 130/1 to the extent of 37 cents and Survey No.131/2 to the extent of 50 cents situated at Kadanthangudi Village, Madukkur Sub Registration circle, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District and consequently direct the 4th respondent not to register any further documents in respect of the above said propertied by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.07.2025 within a stipulated period as framed by this Court.

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents. Issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner has already filed O.S.No.78 of 2022 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Pattukottai against the private respondents 2/6

seeking the relief of permanent injunction. He had also filed and IA to restrain the jurisdictional Tahsildar from effecting mutation of the revenue record. Relief has also been sought against the registering authority. It appears that the IAs are yet to be disposed of. 3.I direct the learned District Munsif, Pattukottai to dispose of the interlocutory application filed by the writ petitioner on merits and in accordance with law after notice to the respondents therein within a period of four weeks from the date of next hearing. If IA has not been filed, it is open to the petitioner to file IA in this regard. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
