PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to complete his entire proceedings in Na.Ka.C4/4433/2015 and consequently to issue Nationality Certificate to the petitioner as she is having Indian Citizenship within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court. This writ petition is filed to direct the first respondent to issue a Nationality Certificate to the petitioner within the stipulated time.

2.Today(12.06.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner died and he is not in a position to get instructions from the legal heirs of the petitioner and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the submission made by the petitioner's counsel and considering the fact that this writ petition is pending from the year 2016, this writ petition is dismissed with a liberty to the petitioner's legal heirs to work out their remedy in the manner known to law. No Costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
