PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for records pertaining to the impugned order dated 25.11.2016 in U/C 79/CBS/DG/S-16 passed by the second respondent and quash the same consequently directing the second respondent to grant renewal of the petitioner's licence for the next 1/5

three years from 30.11.2016 to run the petitioner's catering and Bakery Stall No.16 at Dindigul Railway Station as per the Catering Policy 2010.

The petitioner was awarded with a contract by Indian Railways for running a catering and Bakery stall in Dindigul Railway station for a period of five years from 01.12.2008 to 30.11.2013 and the same was also subsequently renewed upto 30.11.2016. Seeking further renewal after 2016, the petitioner has made a request and that was rejected by the respondent Railways. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition in the year 2016.

2.When this writ petition was taken up for hearing on 27.11.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner and 2/5

therefore, this writ petition was ordered to be listed today under the caption for dismissal. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3.Considering the relief sought for in this writ petition and since there is no representation for the petitioner for the last two hearings, even after this writ petition was listed under the caption for dismissal, this writ petition is closed.
