Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to extend the benefit provided in the Government Order issued in G.O. Miscellaneous No.182 Social Welfare and Nutritious Department dated 04.12.2002 to the petitioner's trust and to expedite the assignment as well as issuance of free patta to the petitioner's trust in respect of Government Poramboke land in R.S.No. 178/2 to an extent of 01.6.0 Acres (10 cents) out of total extent of 0.31.0 acres situated at 37 Pandamangalam Village, Woraiyur, Trichy District, within a time stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner has sought for a mandamus directing the respondents to grant patta in R.S.No.178/2 to an extent of 01.6.0 Acres (10 cents), situated at 37 Pandamangalam Village, Woraiyur, Trichy District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing on 07.06.2023, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the land in R.S.No.178/2 has already been allotted for the purpose of Veterinary Clinic and there is no feasibility for grant of patta to the petitioner.

4. In view of the said submission, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
