ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed for issuing a direction to the learned Additional District and Sessions Court, Tenkasi, Tirunelveli District to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.8 of 2019, pending on his file within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. According to the revision petitioner / 2nd defendant, he has filed a suit in O.S.No. 510 of 1996 before the Additional District Munsif, Sankarankoil, Tirunelveli. The respondents / plaintiffs have also filed O.S.No.542 of 1996 before the same Court. Both the suits were taken up on file and the order was passed in favour of the revision petitioner stating that the property belongs to him. Subsequently, patta was also issued in respect of S.Nos. 1741, 1742 and 1743 respectively. In these circumstances, the respondents / plaintiffs have filed the present suit in O.S.No. 8 of 2019, on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Court, Tenakasi, Tirunelveli District, in order to disturb the peaceful possession of the revision petitioner. Hence, the revision petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking early disposal of the said suit.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the suit schedule property https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

C.R.P(MD)No.2123 of 2019 declared by the Court below in favour of the revision petitioner in O.S.No. 510 of 1996, this Court is of the view that it would be appropriate to dispose of the present suit in O.S.No.8 of 2019, pending on the file of the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, Tenakasi, Tirunelveli District, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than eight months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
