Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.

2.This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission to the petitioner to raise the bund of the Veppankulam Tank, which belongs to the Petitioner situated in Survey No.769 of Rayagiri Part-1 Village, Sivagiri Taluk, Tenkasi District by taking mud from the said tank by out Mutt and Agriculturists at their own costs on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2024.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and necessary orders would be passed in accordance with law within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, I direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.05.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
