ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sivagiri to expedite the trial in Crl.M.P.No.2085 of 2024 within a time frame.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, when the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the learned Magistrate has passed an order in Crl.M.P.No. 2085 of 2024 dated 19.07.2024 directing the second respondent to investigate the case thoroughly and file a report on or before 19.08.2024 and that in pursuance of the directions, the second respondent has conducted enquiry and submitted a report before the concerned Court on 02.09.2024. He would further submit that since the learned Magistrate has passed an order dated 19.07.2024 and the second respondent has already filed a report, question of directing the learned Magistrate to expedite the enquiry in Crl.M.P.No.2085 of 2024, does not arise at all. 2/4

3.Since the second respondent has already filed a report, the petitioner is at liberty to take appropriate proceedings, in the manner known to law.
