ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 1/4

528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.67 of 2019 on the file of the respondent within a reasonable period of time to be stipulated by this Court.

2. It is seen from the records that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.67 of 2019 on 22.04.2019 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 324, 307 and 506(2) IPC.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that charge sheet was made ready on 01.05.2019 itself and they have filed the same before the jurisdictional Court through e-filing on 13.10.2024.

4. This Court is at loss to understand when the charge sheet was made ready on 01.05.2019 as to why the same came to be filed only yesterday and that too after filing of the present petition. Hence, the Jurisdictional Superintendent of Police is directed to conduct enquiry 2/4

with regard to the above lapses since the offence is under Section 307 IPC.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
