The present writ petition has been filed seeking mandamus forbearing the respondents from dispossessing the members of the petitioner's Society from the shops allotted to them in the Gandhi Market, Ottanchathiram till the lease period is over.

2. The present petition has been filed on 05.11.2019 and the lease period has expired on 31.03.2021.

3. The learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that new shops have been constructed and the members of the petitioner's society have 2/4

been accommodated in the said shops. Therefore, nothing survives to be adjudicated. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
