ORDER
The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a Mandamus to direct the third respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in Survey No.155/4A3 situated at Karan Group, Ramanathapuram Taluk, Ramanad District.
2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the second respondent by his order, dated 04.09.2017, had directed to grant patta in favour of the petitioner. Only thereafter, the petitioner had approached the third respondent. The third respondent had also issued 2/6
proceedings in-compliance with the order of the second respondent. But, however, till date patta has not been issued in his favour. Hence, the petitioner approached this Court seeking for a direction to the third respondent to issue patta.

Mr.D.Balamurugapandi, learned Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent would submit that as against the order passed by the second respondent dated 04.09.2017, the fourth respondent had filed a revision before the District Revenue Officer, Ramanathapuram District and the same is pending till date. Therefore, he would submit that after the order is passed by the District Revenue Officer, then the claim of the petitioner can be considered.
4. Considering the facts of the case that the revision filed by the fourth respondent, dated 20.09.2017 is still pending on the file of the District Revenue Officer. This Court, directs the District Revenue Officer, Ramanathapuram District to dispose of the revision filed by the fourth respondent within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the 3/6
third respondent for appropriate orders to grant patta.
5. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
