ORDER
Seeking an early disposal of his second appeal, dated 02.12.2023 submitted before the 1st respondent, the petitioner is before this Court.
2. The petitioner would submit that the he had requested the 3rd respondent to furnish certain informations with reference to the following:
"6. On what basis patta was issued to Sasikumar for Survey No.113/10 Erawardpatti Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, without any documents of title, though Tmt.Meenakshi, w/o.Durairaj had registered title deed viz., settlement deed, dated 09.09.1991 vide Doc.No.2569/1991?
7. On what basis patta has been denied to the registered title holder viz., Tmt.Meenakshi, w/o.Durairaj who had registered title deed viz., settlement deed, dated 09.09.1991 vide Doc.No.2569/1991 for Survey No.113/10 Erawardpatti village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District?"
3. The 3rd respondent did not furnish any details. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed an appeal before the 2nd respondent on 31.10.2023. Since he also failed to discharge his duties, the second appeal was field before the 1st respondent on 02.12.2023. The same is also yet to be disposed of. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
4. Considering the fact that the petitioner has made an appeal as early as in the year 2023, a mandamus is issued to the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal, dated 02.12.2023 within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands allowed. No costs.
