Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.p.c to direct the learned District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for PCR Cases), Pudukkottai to accept the surrender of the petitioners and consider their bail application on the same day on merit relating to Crime no.211 of 2024 dated 01.08.2024 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.D.Rameshkumar, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st and 2nd Respondent, this Court made the following order:

This petition has been filed seeking extension of time to surrender of the petitioners before the District and Sessions Judge (Special Court for PCR Cases), Pudukkottai, as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13122 of 2024 dated 12.08.2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners could not surrender before the learned Sessions Judge and produce the sureties within the stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this petition is allowed and time is extended by ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
