ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.07.2018 requesting the respondents to drop the proposal of formation of drainage channel in the petitioner's land situated in Ramsamypuram Street, T.Kunathoor Village, Madurai District, within a time limit fixed by this Court.

2. When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have not taken any steps to put up drainage channel in the petitioner's land and therefore, he seeks permission of this Court to not press this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as not pressed. No costs.
